He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottfried Mumm and Sarah Mumm (McDonald); his son Joseph Michael Mumm; his siblings, Gottfried Bernard, Paul, Frederick "Fritz", Hubert Mumm, Juliann Mumm, Anogene Rogers, Josephine Douglass, Eleanor Rogers, Alberta Ritter and Clara Newton (Dick); and his nieces, Alicia Hull and Mary Jane Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky Mumm of Atwood; his children, Greg Mumm of Ludell and Anita Mumm of Salida, CO; and his siblings, Margaret "Marge" Roy, Dolores Raile, Clement Mumm (Patricia), Joan "Judy" Smith (Gordon) and Kenneth Mumm.
For purposes of social distancing, a funeral Mass for close friends and family will be held at 10:30 a. m. Thursday, November 5, 2020, at St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church, in Herndon, KS, with visitation taking place from 9-10:00 a. m. and rosary at 10:00.
