It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Theresa Stehno of Atwood, Kansas, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Catherine Theresa may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Stehno (Gus) and Rose Stehno. She is survived by: her siblings, Marilyn Ince, Elaine Martin, Eugene, Gerald and Larry of Plano, TX. She is also survived by many nieces. nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Baalmann Mortuary - Atwood (109 N 2nd St, Atwood, KS 67730). A vigil service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Atwood (508 N Railroad Ave, Atwood, KS 67730). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (Hwy 36, Atwood Township, KS 67730).
