It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Trail (Atwood, Kansas), who passed away on August 22, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Dorothy; her parents, Allie and Pearl; her siblings-in-law, Jill Samson (Joe) and Earl Niermeier (Dorothy); and her husband Floyd.
She is survived by: her children, Alfred Samson, Pearl Samson (Dostal) and Floyd; her wife Kathy; her son Doug Trail (Kathy) of Johnston, IA; her brother Joe (Mary Hurtt); her grandchildren, Stephanie Cheek (Troy) of New Virginia, IA, Samantha Eckard (Grant) and Sarah Trail; her great grandchild Troy James Cheek; and also, Stephanie, Samantha and Ludell. She is also survived by great-granddaughter due this Oct. and numerous nieces and nephews.
