He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Wallingford (Pratt) and William Alvin Wallingford; his son Mark Lee Wallingford; and his siblings, Perry Lee, Floyd Earl, Carl Estin, William Alvin, Paul Emerson, George Wallingford, Edith Merle Smith, Ella Jean Bannister and Laura Ardith Landsdown.
He is survived by: his spouse Myrtha Helen Wallingford (Hardin); his children, David Neal Wallingford (Sherrie Parker) of Orting, WA, James Von Wallingford (Misti) of Cambridge, KS, Robert Alan Wallingford (Gayla) of Atlanta, KS, Helen Thomas of Atlanta, KS, Ruth Ann Payne (Raymond) of Belle Plain, KS and Sharla Faye Wallingford of Garland, TX; his daughter-in-law Beth Wallingford of Augusta, KS; and his siblings, James "Fred" Wallingford (Carolina) of Oklahoma City, OK, Reva Ann Everett of Great Bend, KS, Ida May Arnold of Mulvane, KS and Rutha Jane Maloney of Oklahoma City, OK.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
