She was predeceased by: her parents, William Drake and Pearl Drake; her husband John Ralph Hays; and her grandson John Jesse Etter. She is survived by: her daughters, Arvene Hays Kilby and Rebecca Etter Threadgill (Timothy); her sister Dorothy Jean Bernard; her grandchildren, Crysteen Gillenwater and Bryce Demaree; and her great grandchild Courtney Gillenwater. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
