He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Francis and Irene Frances Grippin (Behney); his son Robert "Bob" Grippin (Linda) of Atchison, KS; his daughter-in-law Donna Grippin of Atchison, KS; his grandchildren, Kim Bottorff (Brad), Doug Grippin (Sandy), Bob Grippin, Jr. (Diane) and Michael Grippin (Megan); his children, William H. "Bill" Grippin, Jr. and Joyce Irene Grippin; and his sister Blanche Shifflett. He was also cherished by twelve great grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren.
