With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Ernzen of Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchell Gore and Evelyn Gore (Nottingham); her husband Daniel Thomas Ernzen of Patrick's Church; and her sister Mary Jane Ellerman. She is survived by: her children, Michael Ernzen, Debra (John Forbes), Yvonne Ernzen (Timothy Arehart) and Suzanne (Kevin Doehring); her grandchildren, Nicole Forbes (Nick Hamill), Joseph Forbes, Daniel Forbes, Zachary Arehart, Natalie Arehart (Brad Mawyer), Grace Arehart (Conner Jonson), BreeAnne Doehring (Andy Fu), Brenna Doehring Wade (Taylor Wade) and Elijah Ernzen; her great grandchildren, Hazel Hamill, Felix Fu, Colin Hamill, Hattie Arehart-Mawyer and Baby Delilah Wade; and her sister Virginia Blackman (Klamath).
A rosary was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (19384 234th Rd, Atchison, KS 66002). Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
