We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Sarah Jean Rains of Atchison, Kansas, born in Horton, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon T. Highfill and Mary M. Highfill (Ipe). She is survived by: her children, David Kirk Rains (Amanda) of Coffeyville, KS, Tracey Lynn Funk (Thomas) of Nortonville, KS, Stacey Elizabeth Beckett of Arkansas City, KS and Kara Suzanne Custer (Cole) of Atchison, KS.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Cremation services were entrusted to the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home where memorial contributions to Amberwell Hospice may be sent.
