He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Winzer and Ruth Winzer (Wood); his daughter Tamara Winzer; and his siblings, Everett, Aaron Winzer, Nora Jean Wohlgemuth and Reona Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Ollie Barker; his daughters, Debbie Orr (Dan) of Topeka, KS, Karen Stattelman (Bill) of Topeka, KS and Deanna Murphy (Tim) of Firestone, CO; his grandsons, Dillon Orr (Amanda), Dalton Orr (Kelly), Alex Stattelman (Catlin), Sean Stattelman, Jeremiah Tyler (Mary Kate) and Joshua Tyler; and his stepgrandsons, Dan Orr (Danielle) and Joseph Yellowhorse-Murphy. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Becker - Dyer - Stanton Funeral Home (800 Kansas Ave, Atchison, KS 66002). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Cemetery (1301 180th Rd, Troy, KS 66087).
