It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard W. Downing Jr. of Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wayne Downing, Sr. and Loretta Downing (Kelley); and his siblings, David Downing, Sr., Donna Downing and Greg Kelley.
He is survived by: his sisters, Valerie Marcelin (Klebert) of Atchison and Loreeta Downing of Florida. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.
