He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Beal and Laura Lou Beal (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Anne Leming; his children, Jon Beal (Elizabeth), Lori Green (Mike) and Cheryl Taber (Will); and his sister Sara Bohrer (Stephen). He is also survived by several grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be given to Atchison County Emergency Management or St Croix Hospice of Hiawatha and sent to the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Homes in Atchison. 800 Kansas Avenue Atchison, Kansas.
