He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Lou Hampton (Best); and his brothers, Randy Hampton (Nancy) and Kenny Joe Hampton. He is survived by: his father Joseph Hampton; his wife Calley Hampton; his children, Kaitlyn Hampton, Hannah Hampton and Joel Hampton; and his siblings, Dennis Hampton (Cathy), Betty Jo Maxwell (Ed) and Kenisa Owens-Hampton (Cassie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Arensberg Pruett Funeral Home (208 N 5th St, Atchison, KS 66002). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (201 N 17th St, Atchison, KS 66002).
