With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Downing of Atchison, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 3, 2025 at the age of 77. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Cushinberry, Sr. and Alta Cushinberry (Smith); and her husband Clifford A. Downing, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Clifton Eugene Downing, Paula Elaine Downing, Ethel Mae Downing and LeAnne Renee Downing. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
