She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lawrence McMillen and Dorothy Elizabeth McMillen (Drum); her husband Donald Olmstead; and her brother Mike McMillen. She is survived by: her son Doug Olmstead; her grandchildren, Chelsie Klasinski (Evan) and Ryan Olmstead (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Kamdyn Klasinski and Andi Olmstead; her siblings, Dorothy Ragan and Joe McMillen (Joyce); and her brother-in-law Larry McCray (Linda).

Memorial contributions may be made to the Atchison Humane Society.

“Was so sorry too hear that Patti Sue had passed. She was a great person to be around. The class of 1956 would get together to have lunch every few months and would eat and just visit. During the covid time we of course we could not get to get together. Unfortunately during that period a lot of the class had passed or was so crippled that it was almost impossible to get together. We will all miss her and her crazy laugh. The class of 1956 would like to express are condolences to you.”
