She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bewley and Alma Lynch Bewley; her husband Robert Swordy; and her siblings, Peggy Wilburn, Louise Bewley, Raymond Bewley and Jim Bewley.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Emery of Atchison, KS, Vicky Kiehl (Carl) of Atchison, KS and Leslie Wise (Ed McNiel) of Raymore, MO; and her siblings, William Bewley of Atchison, KS and Jo Stewart of Hutchinson, KS. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
