She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold King and Myrtle King (Myers); her husband Robert King; and her sister Elizabeth Bertels. She is survived by: her sons, Allan R. Scherer (Patty) of Lansing, KS and Scott A. Scherer (Angela) of Atchison, KS.; and her siblings, Richard King of Falls City, NE, Barbara Wolters of Atchison, KS, Debbie King of Hiawatha, KS and Shirley Pantle. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
