Mary Sowers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Sowers (Atchison, Kansas), who passed away on August 5, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dorsey and Isabelle Dorsey (Marshall); her stepdaughter Suzanne Rome; and her brother Ron Dorsey. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Sowers; her children, Michael Haskins (Sue) of Colorado Springs, CO and Robin Haskins; her stepchildren, Timothy Sowers (Kim) of Milton, FL, Dan Sowers (Carrie) of Atchison, KS, Patrick Sowers of Atchison, KS and Karen Hazlewood (Jim) of Simi Valley, CA; and her siblings, Gene Hazlett (Patsy), Bill Dorsey (Betty), John, Dotty Burnett (Sam) of Faucett, MO, Charles Hazlett and Jimmy. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Joseph's Animal Shelter or the Trinity Lutheran Church Altar Guild and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
