With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Kelley in Atchison, Kansas, born in Hattieville, Arkansas, who passed away on September 21, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Masingill and Nealie Masingill (Simon); her husband James W. Kelley; her son James L. Kelley; and her siblings, Woodrow of Curtis, OB, Cleo Masingill, Etta Peck, Cecile McCoole, Ola Peterson and Imogene DeFranzo.
She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Scholz (Kenny) of Atchison, KS; her grandchildren, Nikki Hamre (Shawn) and Craig Scholz (Jessie); and her great grandchildren, Lauren Hamre of Ithaca, NY, Alexandra Hamre of Springfield, MO and Hayden Hinton of Lawrence, KS. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Sue to the First Baptist Church or the Atchison Humane Society.
