She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Grunert and Kathryn M. Grunert (Anderson); her husband Virgil L. Monson; and her granddaughter Beth Marie Monson. She is survived by: her children, John Monson (Mary Lynn), Greg Monson (Brandy) of Meriden, KS, Cindy Drimmel (Stan) of Lancaster, KS and Sandy Cormode (Randy) of Atchison, KS; and her sisters, Martha Smith and Dorothy Williams. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the NEK Hospice or the St. John's Lutheran Church, Lancaster and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home.
