He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Theodore Kuhnert, Sr. and Wanda Ida Kuhnert (Klein). He is survived by: his wife Mary Kuhnert; his daughters, Cathy Higley (Alan) of Cummings, KS, Patty Field of Atchison, KS, Diane Kautz of Atchison, KS and Carol Hale (James); his grandchildren, Candice Jenkins (Ed) of DeKalb, MO, Tara Wilburn (Charlie) of Omaha, NE, Stacey Handke (Craig) of Atchison, KS, Jeff Hale (Tiffany) of Atchison, KS, Gus Kautz (Ashley) of Atchison, KS, Amy Hale of Atchison, KS, Travis Higley (Kelsey) of Cummings, KS and Kelly Peuker (Andrew) of Atchison, KS; his son-in-law Lynn Field; and his grandson Curtis Wade Field. He is also survived by twenty two great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Trinity Lutheran School Grant Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.
