He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Prohaska and Mary Prohaska (Vanderweide); and his daughters, Dr. Sharon Prohaska Grossman, Cindy Prohaska Hamilton and Cheryl Walker.
He is survived by: his former wife Ina "Joan" "Jo" Pittman; his children, Steve (Nancy Prohaska), Julie (Corky Prohaska Coleman Barker) and Nancy Prohaska (Steve); his brother Don (Alberta Prohaska); and his son-in-law Gilbert Chavez. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home who has been entrusted with care.
