She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Potts and Mary Potts (Jones); her husband Jim Powell; her sister Shirley Tiner; her sons, Darryl Polk and Eric Polk; her grandchildren, Caleb Polk, Cassidy Polk and Ryan Polk; her great grandchildren, Hudson Polk, Nixon Polk and Nolan Polk; and her sister Cheryl Deaton. She was also cherished by her family and friends.
The family plans to make a donation to the Turtle Island Restoration Network in her memory and invites others to do so as well.
