She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Ellis and Gail L. Ellis (Hazelitt); and her son Gene Hurst. She is survived by: her children, Dana R. Obermeyer of Platte City, MO, Gail L. Hansen of Atchison, KS, Mandy Miranda, Tonya White of Blue Springs, MO and Jay Patton of Shawnee, KS. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Judith donated her body to the University of Kansas School of Medicine Willed Body Program.
