It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Marie Shrader of Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Smith and Elsie Smith (Worner); and her siblings, Junior, Jerry, Jack Smith and Julia Osgood.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Eckert (Connie), Dave Eckert (Stacy), Denise Vandeloo (Shawn) and Donna Williams; her grandchildren, Jordan, Paige, Dane, Cory, Taylor, Bodie, Landen, Blayne and Quade; her great grandchildren, Eme, Ethan, August, Ellarie, Maycie, Norah, Zeion and Zeimer; and her sister Jan Heitschmidt.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Becker - Dyer - Stanton Funeral Home (800 Kansas Ave, Atchison, KS 66002). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Gran Villas or to St. Croix Hospice.
