He was predeceased by: his parents, Luz Gasper (Rodriguez) and Benito Gasper; his siblings, Roddy and Eva; and his children-in-law, Ben Vargas and Brenda Gasper.
He is survived by: his wife Lola Gasper; his children, Lisa Vargas of Fort Worth, TX, Jim Gasper (Karen) of Bonner Springs, KS and Anthony "Tony" Gasper of Atchison, KS; his siblings, Theresa Haggard of Anadarko, OK, Martina Love of Alamogordo, NM, Mary Ellen Rodriguez of Emporia, KS and Blase Gasper of Leavenworth, KS; his grandchildren, Ricky Gasper, Lance Gasper, Nico Gasper, Kyler Vargas, Keegan Vargas and Doug Landrum; and his great grandchildren, Octavian Gasper, Roman Gasper, Eli Gasper and Katelyn Landrum.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Benedict Parish and may be left in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with whom cremation care has been entrusted.
