We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2023, at the age of 79, John Vernon Trower Jr. of Atchison, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Sr. Trower and Geraldine Trower (Hatchell); his son Vernon Trower; and his siblings, Dean Trower, Karen Jantz, Julie Elias and Sheila Trower.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Guatney; his children, Travis Trower of Atchison, KS, Sonja Betts of Atchison, KS and Alyssa Wallace of Stillwater, OK; his siblings, Tim Trower of Atchison, KS and Melody Moon of Halstead, KS; and his caregivers, Travis Trower, Joe, Susan McCoole, Megan and David Rapson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Final Expenses and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
