She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Black and Irene Black (Brown); her husband Carl E. Dotson; her siblings, Frankie Black and Joyce Park; and her grandson Christopher Dotson.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Knowles (Rodney) and Terry Dotson; her granddaughters, Teresa Boldridge (Mike) and Carla Thompson (Rick); her great grandchildren, Tanner, Kelsea Ford, Kayla, Dane, Dotson Spilman, Brittney Boldridge, Mackenzie Page, Mackena, Kamren, Caleb, Max Thompson and Cayden Dotson; her great great grandchildren, Zaden, Zavien, Jaitèn and Jaylen; her sister Sherry McElfresh (Larry); and her daughter-in-law Tammy Dotson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
