McCubbin of Atchison, Kansas, born in Lancaster, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 26, 2024 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas L. McCubbin and Ida E. Jahne McCubbin; his wife Mary; and his sons-in-law, Dr. Jack Chapman and Jack McCarver.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela K. "Pam" Schwartz of Atchison, KS, Virginia L. "Ginny" Bailey (Mark) of Atchison, KS, Julia L. "Julie" Houston (Jeff) of Grain Valley, MO and Darla J. McCarver of Springfield, MO; his grandchildren, Nicole Schwartz-Eck (Jeremiah) and Maryl Chapman (Roland); his great grandchild Cole James Eck; and his sister-in-law Rosie Maycroft of Atchison, KS..
