With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Greg Frakes of Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on November 11, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Greg's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Greg has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his father Louis "Wayne" Frakes. He is survived by: his mother Corrine Frakes (Wagner); his wife Christine Frakes of Joseph's Church; his children, Danielle Brooks (Jared) and Shawn Frakes (Alicia); his siblings, Tonya Galland (Raymond), Jeff Frakes (Brenda) and Roger Frakes (Tina); and his grandchildren, Stephan, John and Ellie. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 5:20 PM at the Arensberg Pruett Funeral Home (208 N 5th St, Atchison, KS 66002). Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 5:20 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (801 Spring Garden St, Atchison, KS 66002).
