He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Giles and Louise Giles (Arensberg); his children, Charles "Chuck" Giles and Rebecca Giles Armontrout; and his siblings, William (Giles), Betty Reeves (Cliff) and Marie Schmelding (Herman).
He is survived by: his children, Madison Miller (Trey), Debbie Saur and Tim Giles (Sue); and his stepsons, Brian Schmidt (Charity) and David Schmidt (Amy). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Arensberg Pruett Funeral Home (208 N 5th St, Atchison, KS 66002). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
