He is survived by: his daughter Sheila of Overland Park, KS.; his sisters, Sarah Downing of Beaumont Texas and Angela Tyler (Kenneth) of Omaha Nebraska; his children, Dwight Downing Jr. of Atchison, KS., Allison Williams of Alexandria, LA., Veronica Green (Eric) of Houston Tx and Phillip Downing of Atchison, KS.; his brother Steve Brown of Atchison Ks; and his cousin Ricky Smith. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren including 2 bonus twin God-grandsons, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and 1 best friend.
