He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Carol McRae (Seeger); his parents, Merlin McRae and Bessie McRae (Stickler); his grandson Jason Johnson; and his siblings, Frank Kurtz, Murray McRae, Robert "Bob" McRae, Mary Francis Kinney and Connie Canterberry.
He is survived by: his wife Mary "Carol" Seeger; his children, Steve McRae (Sandy) of Rose Hill, KS and Kim Bartlett (Tom) of Atchison, KS; his grandchildren, Amie Johnson (Bruce Spilman), Breanna Hottovy (Tim), Jared McRae (Whitney), Dustin Bartlett (Abby) and Tobin Bartlett (Kelsey); his stepgrandchild Corey Hinz (Brock); his great grandchildren, Macie, Adam Molt, Avery, Wyatt, Cash Hottovy, Landon, Ellis McRae, Carter, Hogan and Keaton Bartlett; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Allysen Owens, Tristan and Taylin Merkle.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Atchison Project Concern or Atchison Humane Society and may be left in care of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with whom the final arrangements have been entrusted.
