He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Higley and Viola Higley (Mayfield); his son Gary Dean Higley; his siblings, Marie, Fred, Tom and Norman; and his daughter Dorothea.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Brun; his grandchildren, Cindy Higley of Atchison, KS., Cathy White (Jeff) of Atchison, KS. and Teila Keys (Matthew) of Atchison, KS.; his great grandchildren, Kea, Kilee, Emily, Elliot, Sam, Cody, Macie, Claire, Kailee, Aubrey, Romana, Ari and Ira; and his sister Lois Ann Lindsey of Pilot Grove, MO.. He is also survived by his wife and family members.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Cummings Christian Church and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home who is handling the arrangements.
