He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Laverne and Sarah Jane Strawhacker (Bradley); and his sisters, Margaret "Joyce" German and Alice Thummel. He is survived by: his former wife Janet Hamilton; his son Nathan "Dennis" Strawhacker of Gladstone, MO; his siblings, Phyllis Shaefer of Hiawatha, KS and Chris Strawhacker of Eldora, IA; and his nephew George Thummel of Atchison, KS. He is also survived by two grandchildren and numerous other nieces and nephews.
