It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David E. Scholz of Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David E. Scholz to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad "Gene" Scholz and Kathleen Marie Scholz (Lutz); his sister Sharon Arnold; and his brother-in-law Courtney Underwood. He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Scholz (Patti), Joe Scholz, Joan Underwood, MaryAnn Meudt (Mark), Karen Hennigh (Mike) and Theresa Rensner (Warren); his brother-in-law Will Arnold of Wichita, KS; and his nephew Benjamin Arnold. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Scholz Scholarship Fund at St. Benedict Catholic School.
