We bid farewell to Daniel Wagner of Atchison, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 5, 2025 at the age of 87. Daniel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Wagner and Eleanor Wagner (Ullman); and his siblings, Keith Wagner and Betty Hubka. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Wagner (Christina) and Daneen Vaughan (Jeremy); his siblings, Bob Wagner, Patrick Wagner, Nora Kathe, Nancy Hilt, Marilyn Buhman, Dorothy Brandt, Peggy Barrett, Mary Wagner and Kathy Wagner; and his grandchildren, Zachary Wagner, Kelsey Hughes (Mike), Micah Wagner, Daniel Wagner and Rebekah Wagner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (801 Spring Garden St, Atchison, KS 66002). A rosary was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (10255 KS-7, Atchison, KS 66002).
Memorials are suggested to Benedictine College to be designated to scholarships and may be left in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
