It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Joan Gonzales of Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on May 7, 2022, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Regan and Phyllis Regan (Brull); her brother Tony; and her former husband Neal Smith. She is survived by: her children, Tony Dougherty of Kansas City, MO and Brianne Campana of Northern California; her granddaughters, Jazmine, Aurora and Bella; her stepchildren, Shayna Evans (Bryant) and Skyler Gonzales (Daniela) of Shawnee, KS; her mother-in-law Betty Gonzales of Atchison, KS; her brother-in-law J. D. Gonzales of Atchison, KS; and her siblings, Timothy (Sue) of Waterloo, NE, Patrick (Amy) of Atchison, KS, Philip (Megan) of St. Joseph, MO, Daniel (Tricia) of Atchison, KS, Matthew (Sarah) of Atchison, KS, Terri Zioerjen (Bruno) of Beverly Hills, FL and Karen Blunt (Jerry) of Atchison, KS. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Benedict Catholic School Endowment to be designated as a scholarship or to St. Benedict Parish and may be left in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with whom funeral care has been entrusted.
