He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewing Bratton and Bertha Miller Bratton; his sons, Arthur Bratton, Jr. and Harry Bratton, Sr.; his granddaughter Dawn Renee Armstrong; and his siblings, Donald, Frank, Paul Bratton, Evelyn Clayter Roper and Florence Gillum.
He is survived by: his children, Jerome Bratton of Atchison, KS, Ramona Whitely (Keith) of Houston, TX and Cinthia Bratton of Atchison, KS; his daughter-in-law Yolanda Bratton of Atchison, KS; and his sister Naomi Hutchison of Leavenworth, KS. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirty-seven great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.
Memorial tributes may be left to his beloved, lifelong church Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church.
