It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amelia Cawthorn of Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on October 29, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Amelia Cawthorn to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Gerhardt and Anna P. Gerhardt (Braun); and her sister Anna Louise Gerhardt. She is survived by: her husband Sherman A. "Duke" Cawthorn; her stepdaughter Phyllis West of Topeka, KS; her stepgranddaughter Robyn West; and her cousin Lois Vowels.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building & Grounds or the Trinity Lutheran School Grant Fund and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
