He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy and Anna; his wife Arlene; his brother Arthur Goppert; his son Mitchell Goppert; and his stepgranddaughter Melissa Fahey.
He is survived by: his former spouse Lauren Snyder of St. Joseph; his children, Larry Goppert of Glasco and Deanna Whitlock (Dennis Chipps) of St. Joseph; his stepdaughter Ruth Clifford (Dennis) of Lindsborg; his grandchildren, Carlena Jeffrey (Brandon), LeRoy Goppert and Jessica Moore (Glen); and his stepgrandson Bryan Ringquist (Wendy). He is also survived by Step children and grandchildren.
