He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Schilling and Clara Lula Harkness (Moore) of Leoti, Kansas.; his former wife Flora Juanita Snedeger; his wife Linda Joyce Grissom; his grandparents, Charles Emit, Delia Harkness (Deng), Franklin Ghould and Tracy Moore (Builta); and his siblings, Lula Bell Geyer (Holland) and Eugene Leon Harkness.
He is survived by: his daughter Tulie Borwieck (Anthony); his grandson Skyler Borwieck (Skylar) of Eugene, Oregon; and his siblings, Rita Perry (Don) of Leoti, Kansas, Jerry Harkness (Glenda) of Marienthal and Tony Harkness (Darlene) of Leoti, Kansas. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
