He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Earl Wells and Ruth Fidelia Culler Wells; and his siblings, Warren Wells and Lorie Wells. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Johnston Judy; his children, Jamie Judy (Julie) of Ft. Scott and Melissa Love (Galen); his grandchildren, Nicklous, Garrett, Hannah, Jake, Caelie, Will and Nate; and his siblings, Dwayne Wells (Sally) of Ft. Scott, Faith Varner (Steve) of Ft. Scott and Kathy Wells of Pittsburg.
