She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Long and Ada Long (Williams); her husband Herman "Catfish" Wilson; and her children, Robert Gates Jr., Dale Wilson, Carol Brooks, Cheryl Schmidt, Linda Owens and Kimberly Wilson Peters.
She is survived by: her children, Nick Wilson, Brenda Wengel, Debbie Gates Martin and Tammy Clark; her grandchildren, Jeremy Peters, Shawn Peters, Autumn Clark, Jacob Clark, Michelle Wilson and David Wilson; and her great grandchildren, Samantha Peters, Axten Peters, Corbin Peters, Madison Covey, Abby Sellers, Chloe Clark and Trevor Clark.
