She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman H. Zimmerman and Carrie V. Zimmerman (Erwin); her husband John R. Weir; and her sisters, Maxine Caley, Melba Foreman and Carrie Biddle.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia (Jerry Munson) of Arkansas City, Dixie (Steve Long) of Austin, Texas and Rick (Karen Weir) of Overland Park; and her grandchildren, Scott (Heather Munson), Todd (Jayna Munson), Brett (Kristin Munson), Brian (Lori Long), Leslie (Darryl Baucum), David (Michelle Long), Eric (Julie Long), Alex (Whitney Weir) and Stephanie Weir. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for the Central Christian Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
