He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis E. Curless and Dorothy L. Curless (Grey); his sister Nancy Curless; and his grandparents, Clarence, Grace Curless, George and Iva Grey.
He is survived by: his wife Mary "Marge" Kappel; his son Justin (Sammi) of Austin, Texas; and his brothers, Allen (Carol Curless) of Admire, Michael (Arnetta Curless) of Arkansas City and Carl (Candy Curless) of Springhill. He is also survived by eight nephews; and a niece; and many other relatives and friends.
