Ellis; his daughters, Kathryn Gay and Eva Christine; his friend Foss Farrar; his brother Paul; his sons, Chad, Sean of Ark City, Richard of Williamsburg, VA and Hugh of Davis, OK; and his stepdaughters, Shandon Weston of Ark City, Gay Seidel of Ark City and Christy Delamatar of Marysville, OH. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
