With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wa Sumner of Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on June 1, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward B. Sumner and LaVell Sumner (Tipton); and his siblings, Phillip, Sandra and Amanda.
He is survived by: his wife Edie (Edie); his children, Kaci Sumner-Melson of Tulsa, OK, Adam Sumner (Ashley) of Sand Springs, OK, Jill Moody (Chad) of Tulsa, OK, Jaden Jacobs of Arkansas City, KS and Shawn Richardson of Ponca City, OK; and his sisters, Karen Mitchell (Mike) of Mesquite, TX and Sharon Juneau of Mesquite, TX. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
