It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vickie Lavon Kendrick of Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobbie J. LeClair and Florence H. LeClair (Silar); her husband Forrest Lee Kendrick; and her siblings, Rose Henley, LaVonna Bilyeu and Benny LeClair.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Kendrick (Victoria) of Arkansas City, Scot Kendrick (Christina) of Wichita and Mark Kendrick (Tonya) of Arkansas City; her siblings, Ranny LeClair (Linda) of Arkansas City, Shirley New of Topeka, Hazel Pugh of Arkansas City and Avonna Flora of Manchester, KS; and her brother-in-law Robert Henley of Newkirk, OK. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the Vickie Kendrick Monument Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
