He is survived by: his wife Juanita Frances Darnell; his son Christopher Whyde of Denver, CO; his brother Robert Whyde of Arkansas City; his grandchildren, Melissa Kennedy and Joseph O'Connors; and his great grandchildren, Aedyn Murphy, Matthew Davenport and Kylie Reagor.
