He is survived by: his wife Carol Preedin; his children, Russell Pate, Matthew Preedin, Crystal Metzinger (Billy) and Susanna Pate Estrada; his grandchildren, Brice Harader Pate (Reese Hollenbeck), Brandon Pate (Brooke), Joshua Metzinger, Nathan Metzinger, Camden Estrada (Mica), Morgan Estrada, Chasity Preedin, Daci Preedin and Mattison Preedin; his sisters-in-law, Lois Preedin and Trish Preedin of California; and his nieces and nephews, Suzette Tingley of Tennessee, Cynthia Preedin, Kathryn Preedin, Naomi Preedin of Chicago, Debra Fox Marvin (John) of Oklahoma City, Michael Preedin (Colleen) of Oregon, Jacob Preedin and Ezekiel Preedin of Chicago. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
